The Sopranos is far more than a simple crime show. It's incredibly complex and touches on the psychological and, as we explore in this video, even the paranormal. One of the biggest reasons why I feel The Sopranos is the best tv shows of all time is its unusual psychological and symbolic depth, along with its many unsolved mysteries. One such mystery of the The Sopranos that always confounded me and others comes at the end of the episode, Kennedy and Heidi: Tony Soprano's "I get it" moment. This video is my attempt to answer the question of what exactly ...

The Most Controversial Movie Ever Made Got Its Director Murdered
Просмотров 1,6 млн7 месяцев назад
Pier Paolo Pasolini is the mind behind the most controversial movie ever made: Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom. He is far from being one of my favorite directors, but there are few I respect more than him. Here is an artist with the courage to relentlessly stand up to corruption. An artist with ironclad beliefs, principles and values that he would die for, and he did. Admiration. Resources used i...

Babies and animals. It all goes back to the ducks.
The novel is incredibly violent. The last 40 days are about murder.
"Boss. Fuck it, who needs it?" - Tony Soprano
In Camelot's last scene is arguably the best, add to that the fact that this episode was rated as one of the worst. Tony distastefully fulfilling the narrative about his herculean dad to his kissass crew, exhaling with Linkin Park's Session playing in the background makes it inarguably the best and most significant
Paulie had the funniest extential crises we all go through this at some point in our mind laugh now cry l8r paulie had layers like an onion love and miss you paulie
I used to like this movie before i learned the truth of the anti-christian bolsheviks, now i see it is just soviet propaganda to justify their crimes. Still good movie though
Holy shit dude you’re wild lol
Would love more sopranos content
Great insight here.. well done Bro! * Applause *
Pablo Escobar?!?!
I was looking forward to watching this but I already watched it years ago, total banger🤘
How fitting that it was released in 1984
💯👍
Ok, but what’s with this music 🎷?
Honestly, I feel that David Chase and the other producers and writers were blessed or touched. The show was greater than what they normally could have come up with. Some spiritual element helped them out. Just my opinion. Part of why I say that is because I've seen other shows that David Chase wrote. They were not even close. A lot of elements came together for these guys in this show-- by luck or by spirit or by God.
This show was so good it still has people speculating about its meaning decades after its release. The only movies that achieve this much committment from an audience are absolute classics, like the Godfather, Goofellas, the Shining and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Nice subliminal occult imagery at 0:12
Funnily enough, the first song that comes to mind for that "Mother Mary" appearance scene for me is "Fortune Faded" by Red Hot Chilly Pepper. The beginning portion of the song is eerily similar to the guitar beats that play when Paulie faces her.
Fantastic analysis, thank you 😊
The illustration is stupid
You would imagine free thinking psychedelic users would be adverse to shitty AI art, but here we are.
it’s the same principle as the universe
I think you misspelled scariest it’s actually spelled shittiest
What Pasolini was afraid for Italian society has now affected the rest of the world. We are now talking about a very tiny amount of individuals are beyond rich. Where laws and justice couldn't touch them. They own the politicians and apparel of the law in the palms of their hands. We are now living in a world where AI can, not only, do the thinking, but can also generate homogeneous shit for us to consume. Where human distinctiveness is predicated on branding. Scary indeed!
And like Enzio, they reveal how pathetic their grasp on power is when they “lash out” in ways similar to the libertines. Given their armies of sycophants, unctuous people, and a myriad of other synonyms, all they reveal in their similar flailing is that they “win” not by the merits of their arguments, but by essentially bribing others to support them.
This is why I'm involved in the anti-nuclear movement on Social Media! All I just wanted was world peace... 🕊️
I remember seeing Threads at school in the early 80s. The threat of nuclear annihilation was very much still on the table. I know it is coming back in these uncertain times but it was 100% real then. We did the drills involving hiding under the desks, which were pretty much pointless. They were just designed to make it look the government had a plan and your best interests at heart, neither of which was or is true. I think they showed it to us to shock us into taking the drill seriously. Nowadays, the school would get into serious trouble for showing it. Some helicopter parent would complain.
I wish I had seen Threads back in school during history class. Would have been scary and effective but that’s precisely the point.
This movie gave ny nightmares
im gonna get stoned and watch it again rn
I always thought he said I did it!
He killed his own mudda
what is the background music? anyone can help please?
hi.... great work and effort. what is the background music of this video? I love it
A pint of blood is worth more than a gallon of gold ok 👍
First time I watched that episode, I thought he yelled “I did it!” I felt like the whole episode he wanted to confess. Looking back, this was the episode where he stopped feeling guilt about his evil acts and just gave into it.
Gotta say when i saw the virgin mary scene for the first time it scared the shit outta me
Much of what Pasolini saw in Italy is now a worldwide fait accompli. The depravity of self-worship is nowhere more obvious than in the USA. Celebrity culture in which anyone can have their 15 minutes. And for what?
Wonderful review… connects a lot of the mysteries. The depth is over many viewer’s heads… and it seems many of the commenters still don’t get it after your explanation. Dabble on
2024 Welcome to Cold War 2.0 Feudalism beckons. 😃
'Tuning in, turning off and dropping out'? I think you mean 'turning on, tuning in and dropping out.' 'TURN ON, TUNE IN, DROP OUT.' Get it right if you are going to quote Leary. You turn on with the act of taking the psychedelic. You tune into the energies that are released. In Leary's case in the sixties, he used the Tibetan book of the dead as a guide for tuning in. A manual traditionally used to aid people in death, he viewed the psychedelic experience as a death of the ego, and used the manual to help steer your way into a higher awakened state of consciousness with the help of it. You could also use other religious texts as an aid too. The thing you have to remember about psychedelics are, they open up tremendous suggestibility possibilities, at the same time as suspending your normal state of ego. You can utilise this aspect to it's fullest. That means you sort of engage in a programming type endeavour. Using meditation techniques that don't particularly use the verbal mind and suggestion, whilst under the influence, like Vipassana for instance, are not as effective, in my experience. Conscious Centering with affirmation techniques taken from ancient religious sources declaring your real true nature, like say the Upanishads, or Raja Yoga, work best. With the use of such methods, under the influence, you can have an absolutely full blown spiritually awakened encounter with your true self, your true nature, which will make your previous identity look just like a dream that you woke up out of. This is obviously only a temporary experience which will diminish probably even before the effect of the drug has worn off. But still a tremendously valuable experience to have. Drop out just implies, drop out of the mad collective consumerist unconscious society and find ways to express what you have uncovered. Become a conscious individual being, not a part of the mechanical collective.
When you mentioned religion as strict doctrine vs lip service in Catholicism, I started laughing remembering paulies "time you serve in hell" mathematics, which sounds like some gibberish some corrupt pope from the middle ages made up, and today would be found ironically still cannon because it was never really looked into and overturned.
Bad films about the actual reality of demons. The self deception that it's PTSD ect or anything other than.... Oh hum it's just a horror film about nutty Christians made by Jews 😂.
The dude is just not going to be a slave when he has a lot more going on in his life.
Threads is a psyop by the British government to reduce the amount of people they have to take care of after an apocalypse. Anyone who's watched it will kill themselves and their kids when the bombs drop. Easy as pie.
It’s a warning of what happens when humanity goes insane and if we decide to let madness rule the world.
“Eyes Wide Shut”, Stanley Kubrick?
This film is shocking, brutal and one you can't shut out. I am amazed it was made in 1985 it hasn't aged in any way. - The whole film is incredible, terrifying and intense.
This was a solid 6/10. It’s not as crazy as people make it out to be tho
Shittiest thumbnail ever
He was murdered by Masons for rejecting modernity while at the same time being acquainted with said groups, probably, to reject modernity and it's unholy influence is blasphemous for the sons of the widow. And of course there's also the thing of not tell tales about the sexual rituals of the elits and their depravity. EDIT: The fact that La Magliana was involve even confirms more the theory, La Magliana were the executors in many cases of the Mason lodge of Propaganda Due, they killed a lot of people though they never understood why bc it was comprise under operation Gladius and the whole contact, payment and handleling was done thru the inteligence apparatus of the Italian government. It is thought they also participate in the assassination of Aldo Moro and the mop up operation that follow the Ambrosian Bank scandal
Well constructed 🔥!
And reality would be much, much worse.
Saló and The Gospel According to St. Matthew couldn't be more different.
